Gakenke JADF Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Open Day to Showcase District Development Achievements

Today on July 17, 2026, A planning meeting of the Joint Action Development Forum (JADF) was held at the Gakenke District Conference Hall to review preparations for the Gakenke Open Day, scheduled to take place from 28–31 July 2026. The meeting was attended by the Vice Mayor in charge of Economic Development, NIYONSENGA Aimé François, alongside JADF members and development partners.

Discussions focused on the overall preparations for the event, partners' participation, exhibition arrangements, and strategies to effectively showcase Gakenke District's development achievements, innovative initiatives, and investment opportunities.

The Gakenke Open Day will provide a valuable platform for development partners, public institutions, private sector actors, and community stakeholders to exhibit their achievements, promote business and investment opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and highlight the District's progress toward sustainable socio-economic development and improved livelihoods for its citizens.
